Supporting Water First

Perry Group Consulting prides itself on social responsibility. In 2020 it supported Childhood Cancer Canada. It has recently made a $5,000 donation to Water First. It is intended to be sustained support in various ways rather than just a one-off donation. Water is a utility closely related to municipalities and the related services provided.

Water First is a Canadian non-profit founded in 2009. While initially about bringing drinking water resources to rural schools in Uganda, Water First began working with Indigenous communities in Canada in 2012. Water First dedicated itself exclusively to working with Indigenous communities in 2016. We focus on both drinking water and environmental water concerns, as well as Water Science education for youth. To date, Water First has collaborated with Indigenous communities in Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec and Labrador as one of the top charitable organizations in Canada addressing water challenges through education and training.
