Ben Perry is a founding partner, President & CEO, and IT Practice Lead at Perry Group Consulting Ltd., with more than 25 years of experience in municipal technology leadership and digital modernization.
A former Head of IT for a UK municipality, he brings deep expertise in digital strategy, service transformation, enterprise architecture, ERP advisory, and IT governance, and has led major enterprise system initiatives spanning Finance, Planning, Permitting, Licensing and By-law, Work Management, CRM, GIS, and digital platforms.
Since 2007, Ben has guided municipalities across Canada in developing more than 100 IT strategies, technology master plans, and digital modernization roadmaps. He leads Perry Group’s ERP practice, providing independent, vendor-neutral advisory through every phase of the ERP lifecycle – from readiness and business process optimization through procurement, vendor selection, and implementation oversight.
Ben is a trusted advisor, skilled facilitator, and frequent speaker at municipal technology forums, including MISA. Perry Group is a proud MISA National Partner and a vendor-independent firm of ~35 senior consultants with no affiliations or partnerships with any software or hardware providers.
