John Imperiale is an experienced municipal IT leader with more than 20 years in the public sector, specializing in strategic planning, digital transformation, and operational improvement. He has a strong track record of leading teams, managing complex technology portfolios, and delivering solutions that improve service delivery, increase efficiency, and generate measurable cost savings.
Before joining Perry Group, John was a Senior IT Manager at the City of Mississauga. He oversaw portfolios including Community Services, Transportation and Works, and Digital Services, supporting teams responsible for SharePoint, GIS, Infor, Audio Visual, and digital platforms. He led several major initiatives, including the creation of a Digital Solutions team, the transition to modern technology platforms, implementation of the Administrative Penalty System, development of a Geospatial Master Plan Strategy, and a citywide digital modernization initiative.
John holds a Master’s Certificate in Municipal Management and is actively involved in community volunteer and coaching initiatives.
