City of Regina
Saskatchewan
A GIS review and strategy that centralized dispersed GIS resources into a core IT function under new leadership.
The challenge
Regina's GIS capability was spread across the organization, limiting consistency and making it harder to invest coherently. The City needed both a strategy and a structural answer.
What we did
Perry Group reviewed the City's GIS function and developed a GIS strategy. We recommended significant centralization of GIS resources into a core IT function, organised under a new GIS leader.
The outcome
The City received a GIS strategy and an organizational model consolidating GIS resources into a central function with dedicated leadership.
