The challenge
Small area municipalities in Northumberland faced the same technology demands as larger organizations without comparable capacity. The County needed to know whether it could responsibly provide IT services to them.
What we did
Perry Group conducted an IT review of the County, then designed a shared services model under which Northumberland County provides IT services to a number of area municipalities. We developed the service level agreements underpinning the arrangement.
The outcome
The County established a working shared services model with area municipalities, supported by defined service levels.
